Information for Therapists
Why should I participate?
-
You see every day that your therapy works
Your clients come with complaints – and leave strengthened, more agile, more confident. However, what you experience in your practice often stays there. With THE CHECK, you make the impact of your work visible externally – clear, comprehensible, and well-founded. -
What you see only becomes quantifiable elsewhere through numbers
In the world of insurance companies, doctors, and authorities, often only what is measurable counts. THE CHECK offers a simple solution for this: a tool that shows how your clients change through your work – directly from their perspective. -
You strengthen your practice and the entire industry
With your participation, you show: We stand together for quality. For complementary medicine that verifies its success - and can also demonstrate it. - Your expertise is undisputed. Make it visible!
How does THE CHECK work?
Simple Process – Integrated into Your Existing Practice
THE CHECK can be effortlessly integrated into your daily practice routine – whether you work digitally or with paper.
1. Introduction of THE CHECK in the Initial Consultation
As always, the focus is on your client’s concern. After you have gained an initial overview, you can introduce THE CHECK – as a voluntary tool that helps both of you to systematically and quantitatively record the course of therapy.
You explain:
- Only five short questions at the start of therapy
- Anonymous, GDPR-compliant
- No extra effort – many questions correspond to the usual anamnesis
2. Jointly Record Initial Assessment
In the first session, you record together:
- up to two complaints that are to be treated
- Limitations in daily life caused by these complaints (e.g., movement, concentration, emotional)
- General well-being
The assessment is made using an intuitive scale from 1 to 6.
Once recorded, your client automatically receives a personal ID and login credentials for an app that can be used for easy tracking.
3. Track Progress - Digitally
For follow-up treatments, you record together or your clients themselves beforehand:
- How have the complaints and activities changed?
- How is the general well-being today?
Optional: You can activate automatic reminders for your clients for recording before a treatment.
4. Completion and Effectiveness Measurement
At the end of the therapy, the progress is displayed and automatically evaluated:
- Achieved progress as a numerical difference, e.g., from 5 to 2 = effect 3
- An additional question clarifies whether the clients attribute the success to the therapy
- A follow-up is conducted after three months to capture long-term effects
5. Your Benefits as a Therapist
- You receive a clear overview of all cases
- Your clients see their progress – which is motivating
- You make the quality of your work visible
You decide how you work with THE CHECK: digitally, hybrid, or on paper. THE CHECK adapts to your practice – not the other way around.
