Information for clients

Why should you participate?

How does THE CHECK work?

More clarity about your progress – in a few steps

THE CHECK helps you better understand your symptoms and progress – simply, anonymously, and effortlessly.

1. Introduction in Practice

Your therapist will first take the time to understand your concerns.
If you decide together to use THE CHECK, you will be explained how it works:

  • Only a few short questions per session
  • Voluntary and anonymous
  • No prior medical knowledge required

You decide if you want to participate – at your own pace. You can withdraw from THE CHECK at any time.

Together with your therapist, you will record:

  • What symptoms you have (physical, mental, etc.)
  • How these limit you in everyday life (e.g., movement, concentration, sleep)
  • How you are doing overall

Your assessment is done using a simple scale – in writing or digitally. You will receive personal access data for an app that you can use – if you wish.

Depending on how you decide, you will be invited to answer the questions either before or during the next session:

  • Have your symptoms changed?
  • How do these affect your life?
  • How are you doing overall today?

You can fill out the answers together with your therapist or simply in the mobile app. Upon request, you will receive a reminder.

At the end of the treatment, you will see your progress in black and white:

  • Where were you at the beginning – where are you today?
  • How much have complaints and limitations changed?
  • How do you assess the therapy’s effectiveness?
  • After three months, there will be another short follow-up question – to see if things continue to remain well.
  • You recognize your progress – even small steps are made visible. You strengthen your personal responsibility.
  • You see what works – and what has changed

THE CHECK helps you consciously experience your own development. Simple. Clear. For You.
